MLB Friday - Albert Picks Phillies v Marlins, Nationals v Braves, Rockies v Dodgers, Cardinals v Angels; Nola, Keuchel, Strasburg, Marquez

Favorite Pick of the Day:
Phillies (-250) over Marlins

Fade Pick of the Day:
Nationals (-149) over Braves

Are You Sure? Pick of the Day:
Rockies (+160) over Dodgers

Pick’em of the Day:
Cardinals (-110) over Angels

The Skinny:
Alright. If the Phillies don’t win this one Friday night might be more of an explosion than there was Friday morning at the refinery to the Southwest of them. Aaron Nola is the one you want on the mound in a spot like this, but the Phillies are 1-4 in Nola’s last five starts vs. National League East. But again, it’s the freakin Marlins. If this is a loss, hammer the panic button. . . . I’m fading Dallas Keuchel in his first start of the year for no other reason than it’s his first start of the year. The Nationals are 4-1 in Stephen Strasburg’s last five starts during Game 1 of a series. . . . This is less about the Dodgers than it is about the Rockies. Colorado is just plain good with German Marquez on the bump. The Rockies are 5-1 in Marquez’s last six starts, 9-2 in his last 11 starts when their opponent allows five runs or more in their previous game and 4-0 in his last four starts vs. National League West. . . . First off, the Cards are 4-1 in their last five against the Angels. Plus, the Cardinals are 4-0 in their last four games following a loss and 8-2 in Michael Wacha’s last 10 starts during Game 1 of a series.
