The skinny:

The Twins are off to a surprisingly good start and the Orioles have already won 10 games, which is 10 more than many expected. But today’s starters Dylan Bundy and Kyle Gibson have a combined ERA over 12 and it’s not like the Metrodome is a bad place to hit. . . The Bronx Bunters have somehow been scoring runs and winning games with Judge, Stanton, Hicks, Gregorius and Andujar on the IL and 4-1 Domngo German has been a revelation. But I don’t think he’s going to like the San Francisco weather too much and both teams will score some runs. This way I don’t have to decide which team will score more. . . . Tampa is winning, Boston is barely keeping its head above water. Today the Rays start 4-0 Tyler Glasnow against 0-4 Chris Sale. Glasnow has an ERA under 2. Sale’s ERA is over 7. Of course the Sox are going to win 10-0, but it would be a violation of my fiduciary responsibility to pick them. . . . Betting $165 to win $100 on a team as inconsistent as the Phillies pains me, but they really should beat the Marlins at home.
