Favorite Pick of the Day:
Nationals (-216) over Marlins

Low Risk, High Reward Pick of the Day:
Royals (+215) over Yankees

Fade’em of the Day:
Rockies (+100) over Phillies

If You Must:
Reds-Padres OVER (7)

The Skinny:
You won’t make much money unless you bet big, but there are far riskier bets than Max Scherzer against the Marlins. The Nationals are 7-0 in Scherzer’s last seven starts against the Marlins. . . . This has more to do with the Yankees than the Royals. Yes, Kansas City is 8-2 in their last 10 Saturday games, but New York is 0-4 in Masahiro Tanaka’s last four starts after allowing two runs or less in their previous game and 0-4 in his last four starts on five days rest. Could be a nice little moneymaker. . . . It is very hard to bet against Aaron Nola, but his 2019 has been rocky to say the least. Combine that with a five-game Colorado winning streak and the Rockies Rockies being 4-1 in Antonio Senzatela’s last five starts and you have a recipe for another long day for Nola and the Phils. . . . Seven is a low total for anyone, but especially for a game that features two teams that have hit the over 10 of the last 13 times they’ve played each other. Oh, and with Chris Guccione behind the plate, over is 4-1 in his last five Saturday games.
