MLB Monday: Albert’s Quick Pitch Picks - Nationals v Phillies, Dodgers v Cardinals, Padres v Giants, and Braves v Rockies

Published on

Favorite Pick of the Day:
PHILLIES (-140) over Nationals

Road Favorite of the Day
Dodgers (-120) over CARDINALS

Low-Risk, High Reward
Padres (+105) over GIANTS

If You Must:
ROCKIES vs Braves first 5 under (5.5)

The Skinny:
Bryce Harper
gets to face his own team, this time with the whole stadium (not just half of it) behind him. Also, The Phillies are 5-0 in Vince Velasquez’s last five home starts. . . They might be on the road in St. Louis, but the Dodgers are a play. Not only are they 3-0 on the road this year, the Dodgers are 6-0 in Hyun-Jin Ryu’s last six starts when their opponent allows two runs or less in their previous game. . . .  Not a huge underdog, but the Padres are a decent play over Madison Bumgarner. San Diego is 5-0 in Eric Lauer’s last five starts during Game 1 of a series. Even better, the Giants are 3-13 in Bumgarner’s last 16 starts following a team loss in their previous game. . . . Kyle Freeland first five unders were a moneymaker last year at home, so why not try and ride the wave again this year?
