MLB Saturday: Raise your hand if you like Albert’s picks on Phillies v Twins, Rays v Giants, Rangers v Angels

Favorite Pick of the Day:
Phillies (-147) over Twins

Over of the Day
Rays-Giants (7)

Low-Risk, High Reward
Rangers (+145) over Angels

If You Must:
Phillies-Twins OVER (8)

The Skinny:
You know the saying: If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Take the Phillies over the Twins with Michael Pineda on the mound. The Phils are are 4-1 in Jake Arrieta’s last five home starts against a team with a winning record. . . . Vegas always knows something, but a total of seven seems incredibly low with two non-aces on the bump in the Bay Area. Over is 2-0-2 in the last four meetings between the Rays and the Giants in San Francisco. Seems like a safe play. . . . There are no HUGE underdogs on Saturday, the largest being the Rangers against the Angels. The trends don’t look great for Texas, the Rangers are 1-6 in the last seven meetings in Los Angeles, but something tells me Drew Smyly, who gave up just one run in three innings of work in his first outing, is going to have a good year deep in the heart of Texas. . . . The Phillies are averaging the most runs in baseball to start the season, knocking in over eight runs per game With an O/U of eight, might as well take a flyer on it. With that, we’ve come full circle: if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Enjoy a beautiful baseball Saturday.
