High-Risk, Low-Reward
Mets (-240) over MARLINS

Low-Risk, High Reward
ORIOLES (+135) over Blue Jays

If You Must:
BRAVES (-105) over Cubs

The Skinny:
Well, since over/unders have been brutal to us for the start of the year, we will hold off on providing any until more trends are established. Because everyone hates losing money (don’t tell the Mrs. my record this year). . . . One we have hit on consistently are the favorites, and there’s no reason to think the Phillies don’t get their fifth straight win to start the year with Aaron Nola on the mound against the Nationals. The Phillies are 7-1 in Nola’s last eight starts when their opponent allows five runs or more in their previous game, which the Nationals did last night. . . . Obviously, any time Jacob deGrom is on the mound the price on the Mets is not going to be appealing, especially against the Marlins. . . . Can the Orioles keep it up? After many said they could set the record for most losses in a season, Baltimore is 4-1. Toronto just traded Kevin Pillar to the Giants, so emotions and distractions might be running through the clubhouse. . . . The Cubs are off to an abysmal start, and the Braves have Julio Teheran on the mound, who will look to get on the right foot after taking a loss on opening day in South Philly. Not to mention the Braves are 4-1 in Teheran’s last five starts vs. National League Central opponents.
