Welcome back golf fans! We are to the Tour Championship and what a RIDE it has been this season!

Last week's article we went 5-3 finding some nice profits, and it is something I am hoping to find one more time to put a cap on a positive season! The tour's top 30 players ascend onto Eagle Lake Golf Club looking to hoist the FedEx Cup!

The Course

Eagle Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, GA, is a par 72 that plays just shy of 74,00 yards. This has always been a rather difficult course to manage, and while course history always plays a role, this will be a slightly different scenario.

Since last season, they have completely revamped the course and now, that familiarity will become a stranger once again. The greens are larger, with new hole positions, causing the approach strategy to change.

Driving the ball with accuracy will be a premium here, as well as an excellent 2nd shot, and putting game is going to position players well this weekend. I have targeted a couple tournament matchups I really like!

Tommy Fleetwood Looking to Finish Strong

This is an exciting matchup as both have great course history, but as mentioned earlier, this course is going to play differently for these players. I absolutely love the way Fleetwood's form is coming off that T5 finish last week.

His off-the-tee display with his approach game set him up for success last week and I strongly feel that will happen again and he is a dark horse to win this weekend. This course will demand driving accuracy, and he is one of the most accurate on tour, sitting 5th in accuracy, 32nd off the tee, and 10th in scrambling.

If his approach shots are off, I trust him at the top of the list to scramble his way to a birdie/par. He has all the intangibles to have a better finish over Henley if he can put it together and not fade on Sunday!

Adam Scott is On A Mission!

Another tough matchup here where both have very good course history, but Adam has been on an absolute tear in numerous aspects of his game. Coming off a T2, T18, T10, 2 finish, he is poised to finish very high this weekend. His strokes-gained around the green, putting, total, and greens in regulation are going to be key for him this week.

He is ranked 16th in total, 31st in off the tee, and 30th putting, I believe he will look to dial back the distance this week, helping him stay in the fairway.

Recent history suggests Finau will have a high finish as he has done well all 3 of the past years. I love Scotts approach to his schedule down the stretch, keeping him rested and putting him in position for possibly a top 10 finish here!

Give Me Xander To Hoist the Tour Championship

There are realistically only 5-6 guys that can win this, and I believe Xander should be at the top of the list. We know Scottie has failed to complete this 2 years in a row, some are betting he will finally get the job done this year, but Xander has had an equally impressive year, he is 2 shots back, and I believe he will make enough happen to take this thing!

Scottie has shown poor putting in 3 of the last 4 events, and if that ugly monster rears its head once more, I firmly believe someone else will pass him over the weekend.

For my money, it's either one of these guys, Scottie knows the pressure's on and Xander loves this position. No need to go into detail on stats and data, Xanders has by far the best course history data, he is near the top in every category, and if he plays the way he always does at this event, he has a great chance!
