The pick’em DFS space has grown into one of the most competitive corners of online fantasy sports, and the platforms fighting for your action look more and more different from each other with each passing year. PrizePicks remains the biggest name, but ParlayPlay and Dabble have each built real user bases with approaches that distinguish them meaningfully from the market leader. If you are deciding where to play in 2026, this breakdown gives you everything you need to compare all three honestly.

How Each Platform Works

All three platforms share the same foundational concept: pick players, predict whether their stats will go over or under a set projection, build a parlay-style entry, and win based on how many picks you get right. But the execution, contest variety, and experience differ enough that the choice between them is not trivial.

PrizePicks is the most feature-rich of the three. You select 2 to 6 players and predict more or less on their projected stats. Before submitting, you choose between two entry modes: Power Play, where all picks must hit for the full payout, and Flex Play, where you still receive a partial payout if one or two picks miss.

PrizePicks also offers Demons and Goblins — unique boosters that apply modified lines to your picks. Demons raise the threshold for a player stat (more risk, more reward), while Goblins lower it (less reward, easier to hit). Both can be mixed in the same entry.

A Group Play feature automatically pools your entry with other players, creating a leaderboard component where top finishers earn bonus prizes at no additional cost. The platform also runs weekly promotions including Taco Tuesday (discounted lines voted on by users) and Flex Friday (boosted Flex Play payouts or cashback).

ParlayPlay launched in 2021 and has built its identity around simplicity with range. You pick 2 to 9 players on Higher/Lower contests (equivalent to more/less), with an All-In or Insured entry option.

The All-In mode requires all picks to hit; the Insured mode pays partial amounts if one leg loses. ParlayPlay’s maximum lineup size of 9 picks is larger than PrizePicks’ 6-pick maximum, and its maximum payout multiplier of 75x for a 7-pick all-in entry is competitive. Hit It contests are a unique ParlayPlay offering — you pick two athletes and predict the specific statistical range their performance will fall into rather than just over/under.

Rumble contests function as peer-to-peer competitions, grouping your entry with up to 25-100 other players and paying the top finisher. Free2Play weekly contests allow entry with no cash and pay real money to leaderboard leaders. The platform also runs a boosted picks system that increases payout multipliers based on number of selections — up to 35 percent for 9-pick entries — applied automatically without requiring opt-in.

Dabble differentiates itself most clearly with its social architecture. It is a mobile-only platform — there is no desktop version, and all contest entry happens through the app.

You pick 2 to 12 players (the largest lineup cap of the three) and predict over or under on stats across the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, and college sports.

Entries are either All-In, where every pick must hit for the full payout, or Hedge, which allows partial wins with reduced payouts. Dabble’s maximum payout of 1,000x is the highest ceiling of any of these three platforms for a fully correct entry. The defining feature is the social layer: you can follow other users, see their picks in a live feed, copy another player’s entry with a single tap, leave entry descriptions and commentary, and participate in a Banter section that functions as a real-time community chat. Peer-to-peer contests are available in a limited number of states (Arkansas, Kansas, West Virginia, and Wyoming). Dabble is mobile-only and cannot be accessed or played on desktop.

Payout Structures Compared

Payout multipliers are one of the most important factors in evaluating a pick’em platform, and the differences between these three are meaningful.

PrizePicks Power Play payouts: 2 picks = 3x, 3 picks = 5x, 4 picks = 10x, 5 picks = 20x, 6 picks = 25x. Flex Play provides partial payouts on near-misses (for a 6-pick entry: 5/6 correct pays 2x, 4/6 correct pays 0.4x). Demon modifiers can push total multipliers beyond 200x for entries with multiple high-risk boosted lines.

ParlayPlay All-In payouts: 2 picks = 3x, 3 picks = 5x, 4 picks = 10x, 5 picks = 20x, 6 picks = 35x, 7 picks = 75x. Insured entry payouts: a 7-pick insured entry pays 40x for 7/7, 4x for 6/7, and 0.5x for 5/7. ParlayPlay’s 6-pick all-in pays 35x compared to PrizePicks’ 25x — a meaningful 40 percent difference in payout for the same number of picks.

Dabble All-In payouts scale with pick count up to a maximum of 1,000x for a fully correct 12-pick entry. Standard 2-pick through 6-pick multipliers are broadly comparable to PrizePicks, but the extended range to 12 picks and the 1,000x ceiling are genuinely differentiated for players willing to build larger, higher-risk entries.

State Availability

State availability is the first filter for most players and differs significantly across the three platforms.

PrizePicks operates in 43 U.S. jurisdictions for some combination of paid Pick’em and free Streak contests — the widest footprint of the three. Real money Pick’em contests are available in 36 states. The platform is blocked entirely in Hawaii, Idaho, Maine, Maryland, Montana, Nevada, and Washington. Age requirements vary by state (19+ in most, 21+ in Arizona and Massachusetts).

ParlayPlay is available in 27 U.S. states for paid contests, including California, Florida, Texas, Illinois, and the District of Columbia. Excluded states include Hawaii, Idaho, Louisiana, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. Age requirements are 18+ in most states, 19+ in Nebraska and Alabama, 21+ in Massachusetts.

Dabble operates in 27 to 29 U.S. states depending on the contest type. All-In entries are available in most of the same states as ParlayPlay, with Hedge entries available in a slightly smaller subset that excludes Arkansas, Kansas, Massachusetts, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Wyoming. Social features are available nationwide regardless of whether your state allows paid contest entry. Age requirements are 18+ in most states, 19+ in some, 21+ in others depending on state law.

Welcome Bonuses and Promotions

All three platforms offer welcome bonuses, and each structures them differently.

PrizePicks offers a Bet and Get welcome bonus: play your first $5 lineup on Power Play and receive $50 in bonus credits within 24 hours, win or lose. A 100% deposit match up to $100 is also available. Ongoing promotions include Taco Tuesday discounted lines, Flex Friday boosted payouts or cashback, a refer-a-friend bonus of $25 per referral, and periodic free lineup credits and payout boosts for existing players.

ParlayPlay offers a two-part welcome bonus: a $5 no-deposit free entry credited immediately upon account creation, plus a 100% first deposit match up to $100 in Promo Funds with a 1x playthrough requirement. The no-deposit $5 is available without any promo code. Ongoing promotions include a contest payout boost (up to $20 on cash entries), the automatic boosted picks multiplier (up to 35% for 9-pick entries), reload bonuses, weekly Free2Play contests, and a refer-a-friend bonus of $20 per successful referral (up to 10 referrals for $200 total).

Dabble offers a $10 no-deposit bonus for new accounts. No deposit is required and no promo code is needed — the $10 is credited upon registration and identity verification. A refer-a-friend program awards $10 for each friend who signs up and enters a paid contest using your username. Dabble also runs a Rocket Boost feature that adds multiplier boosts to entries, and a Spin & Win wheel that awards bonus funds after deposits.

Sports Coverage

All three platforms cover the major American sports leagues — NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL — plus college basketball and college football. The differentiators are in the secondary coverage.

PrizePicks has the widest sports footprint, offering 15 or more sports including esports (with dedicated Valorant, CS:GO, and League of Legends coverage), golf (PGA Tour), UFC, soccer (EPL and major international leagues), and others. If you want to make picks on sports outside the major North American leagues, PrizePicks is most likely to have them.

ParlayPlay covers NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, UFC, soccer, college basketball, and esports including Valorant and CS:GO. Its sports depth is competitive with PrizePicks for mainstream markets and stands out for including esports alongside traditional sports in a clean, accessible interface.

Dabble covers NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, college sports, and tennis. Its sports menu is narrower than the other two, with no esports coverage and a smaller slate of international sports. For players focused on the major American leagues, this is unlikely to matter. For players who want to make picks on esports or international soccer, Dabble is the wrong platform.

App and User Experience

PrizePicks is available on both iOS and Android apps and through a full desktop web interface. The platform has been around since 2014 and the app reflects that maturity — smooth, fast, and extensively tested with millions of users. Navigation is straightforward and the Demons/Goblins interface integrates cleanly into the lineup building flow.

ParlayPlay is available on iOS and Android apps and through a desktop web interface. The design uses a bold yellow, black, and white color scheme that is immediately recognizable. Page loading is fast and the interface is well-organized around sports tabs and upcoming contest slates. The platform leans into simplicity, and first-time users can build and submit their first entry in under three minutes.

Dabble is a mobile-only platform. The app is available on iOS and Android, and there is no way to access paid contest entry through a desktop browser. The app itself is consistently well-reviewed — clean design with blue and purple tones, intuitive lineup building, and the social feed integrated prominently into the home screen. If you do most of your DFS on a phone or tablet, this is not a limitation. If you prefer desktop play, Dabble is not compatible with that workflow.

Depositing and Withdrawing

PrizePicks accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, PayPal, Apple Pay, and bank transfer (ACH). Withdrawals are available via ACH bank transfer and PayPal, with a minimum withdrawal of $5. Withdrawal processing typically takes 24 to 72 hours.

ParlayPlay accepts Visa, Mastercard, and PayPal. The payment method selection is narrower than PrizePicks. Withdrawals are processed within 3 to 5 business days. There is no minimum withdrawal amount listed publicly, though the minimum entry size on most contests is $1.

Dabble accepts Visa, Mastercard, and PayPal. Withdrawals are processed within 1 to 3 banking days for requests submitted before 4:30 PM ET, with same-day processing available — faster than both competitors. The minimum withdrawal is $5.

Who Each Platform Is Best For

The choice between these three platforms ultimately comes down to what matters most to you as a player.

PrizePicks is the right choice if you want the widest sports coverage, the most mature platform with the most promotional depth, or the Flex Play safety net on smaller entries.

It is the most feature-rich option and the most widely available. The Demons and Goblins system creates genuine variety in how you can build a lineup that the other two platforms do not replicate. For players who want an all-around pick’em DFS home with the most content and the largest active user community, PrizePicks is the clear answer.

ParlayPlay is the right choice if you want higher raw payout multipliers on medium-sized entries (especially 5 to 7 picks), value the Hit It contest format as an additional game type, or want automatic payout boosts without needing to navigate a special promotion.

Its 35x payout on a 6-pick all-in is 40 percent higher than PrizePicks’ 25x for the same lineup. The two-part welcome bonus, including the $5 no-deposit credit, also makes it exceptionally low-friction to try without committing real money. Players who want more payout per pick with a clean, fast interface should try ParlayPlay.

Dabble is the right choice if social features matter to you, if you want to copy picks from other players, or if you like building larger 8 to 12-pick entries chasing the highest ceiling (up to 1,000x).

The no-deposit $10 welcome bonus is the most generous no-commitment offer of the three. The community architecture — live banter chat, pick sharing, follow feeds — is genuinely differentiated in a market where most platforms focus exclusively on contest mechanics. Players who want DFS to feel more like a communal experience rather than a solitary grinding exercise should give Dabble a serious look. Just know that it requires the mobile app and does not support desktop play.

There is no reason you cannot play all three, and given that all offer no-deposit or low-threshold welcome bonuses, the barrier to trying each is low. Most serious pick’em players have accounts on multiple platforms and shop between them based on which site has the better lines on a given day — a habit that pays off the same way odds shopping does at traditional sportsbooks.
