The Wednesday Philly Props: Phillies, Nationals, First Inning

Published on

We didn’t want to jump on the first game of the Phillies-Nationals doubleheader Wednesday because after the wreck of Sunday’s game and two days of rain we wanted to see some actual baseball to get a feel for the Fightins’.

Uh oh.

At least it wasn’t 15-1 bad, right?

With more rain possibly on the way for the nightcap, we are going to keep it simple for Game 2.

The Phillies already got their first-inning run for the day out of the way in Game 1. Jake Arrieta has allowed just four first-inning runs all season (14 starts) and none in the initial frame of his last five outings.

Sounds like “no score through one” to us.

Pick: Phillies-Nationals 0 runs in First Inning ($5/+105)
