The Saturday Philly Props: Phillies, Tanner Roark, Nick Pivetta

The Reds’ Tanner Roark tends to allow a lot of baserunners (62 hits, 25 walks in 62.1 innings). And it appeared the Phillies were finally starting to be able to generate offense when getting baserunners by going 8-for-17 RISP in San Diego before posting an 0-for-5 Friday. If they can get five more opportunites Saturday (4 p.m. start) before Roark departs, they should start put some dents in the scoreboard.

Nick Pivetta looked better in his second outing back (nine strikeouts in six shutout innings against the Dodgers), so if he can keep the Redlegs at bay, we can cash in early and often and have some extra cash to put down on the Belmont Stakes (6:37 post).
