The Sunday Philly Props: Hoskins

Bryce Harper finally broke his homerless string Saturday night, connecting on a three-run blast in the seventh inning of the Phillies’ 8-5 win over the Rockies in Colorado.

That snapped a slide of 50 plate appearances without a four-play swat for Harper. Now, it is Rhys Hoskins’ turn to get off the schneid. He is at 51 homerless PA and counting . . .

We are assuming with all the injuries the Phillies have -- and the JV-like team Gabe Kapler is going to have to field Sunday -- that Hoskins will not be getting a day-game-after-night-game rest. And if he is not in the starting lineup, we’ll just take the pass and maybe stick to just the Phillies Over.

Pick: Hoskins to Homer (+250)
Pick: Phillies Over 4.5 Runs (-125)
