> The Skinny
Took us a while to find a favorite we liked for the price until we stumbled on to these gems: Blue Jays starter Marcos Stroman hasn’t won a game since July 27 (0-4, 4 NDs); Rays starter Charlie Morton hasn’t lost a game since Aug. 11 (5-0, 5 HDs) . . . The Astros and their eight-game winning streak have won twice in a row in Seattle, putting a damper on the Mariners’ 13-2 start. But Seattle LHP Marco Gonzalez hasn’t lost a game since Aug. 22 (5-0, 3 NDs), so eight is enough for the Astros . . . Phillies allow 10 runs one night, 15 the next, score 9 themselves and then allow double-digits again. That’s an Over we’re gonna be riding for a while . . . Tigers are 3-11 O/U including three straight Unders. Twins are also riding three straight U’s when the total is 8 or more.
