The Saturday Philly Props: Phillies

Some Home Runs and an Over
Published on

Call it ODT (Opening Day Testosterone) or HBAP (Hitters Being Ahead of the Pitchers) or just everybody in the ballpark be wired, but the ball was flying off the Phillies bats Thursday, as they scored their most runs in a Opening Game at home since 1914.

You couldn’t ask for better March weather for baseball Saturday (4 p.m. start) and once the shadows move through (are there even shadows in March?), the lumber should take over again.

Even if the H Big Boys don’t go yard, there should be enough offense to hit the Over (9) and cover our home run Props.

Be aware, looking at just the couple of New Jersey mobile apps we monitor, we have seen quite a bit of difference from one app to another for baseball player props so far this season, especially HR Props. Comparision shop, because if you hit, you want it to be for the most winnings possible. And they all may catch up and the odds may all be more in line as the season goes on, so get that little edge while you can.

Pick: Bryce Harper to Homer ($2/+375)
Pick: Rhys Hopskins to Homer ($3/+340)
Pick: Phillies-Braves Over 9 ($6.20/-122)
