Monday night's NBA slate includes 8 games, headlined by an ESPN doubleheader that will kick off with the Heat at the 76ers, followed by the Knicks at the Warriors.
We also have an entertaining Eastern Conference showdown between the Cavs and Pacers, as well as an inter-conference matchup between the Hawks and the Lakers. It should be an entertaining start to the week.
Our team broke down the full slate to identify 4 player props that stand out as our best bets.
OVER 10.5 REB
The swiss-army-knife Josh Hart has hit this over in six of his last eight games, while averaging 13.1 RPG on nearly 42 minutes played in seven March contests. This matchup should help improve this average, as the Warriors take the 3rd-most three pointers per game while sitting in the middle of the league in rebounding.
Against smaller lineups at times throughout this game, look for Hart to secure the most boards of any player in this marquee matchup.
OVER 1.5 3PM
Turner has made two or more threes in his last seven games against Jarrett Allen, including four in their last matchup. The Pacers like to space Turner out against the rim protecting Allen and should do this again tonight. Myles has shot the 3-ball at a 41% marker in March.
UNDER 31.5 PRA
One player we are looking to bet against on Monday night is Lauri Markkanen. While the Jazz have barely squeaked out some wins recently without Lauri due to Sexton, Clarkson, and George’s perimeter scoring, they will still be heavy underdogs against a tough Minnesota front.
The Utah star has only hit this points + rebounds + assists mark once in his career against the Wolves. With limited minutes incoming tonight, Markkanen is a tough player to trust and we are betting the under here.
OVER 25.5 PTS
Look for DeRozan to get back on track against a lesser Portland opponent tonight. Although DeMar only averages 23 PPG against the Blazers with Chicago, we are betting on his consistency tonight. It has been rare this season that the Bulls mid range assassin goes three straight contests without a 25 point game.
With Portland focusing in on Coby White from downtown, expect plenty of mid-range opportunities for DeRozan as he looks to get Chicago only one game away from .500.
