Carlos Alcaraz is the favorite coming into Wimbledon after his 2023 victory in England, defeating Novak Djokovic in a thrilling 5-setter. Novak is likely out of his first Wimbledon since turning pro and will have to wait until the US Open to try and win a major during this calendar year - something he hasn’t done since 2017.
Looking past Novak, Australian Open winner Jannik Sinner opens with similar odds just behind Alcaraz. Sinner has finished in the semifinals or better in three of his last four majors including last year’s Wimbledon when he lost to Djokovic in straight sets. Jannik comes in just a step or two behind Carlos as the best player in the world although he’s holding the #1 world ranking on his chest.
The Polish Hubert Hurkacz and Aussie Alex De Minaur are two big hitters due for a big tournament in a few weeks, while the three Americans ranked 12th through 14th in the world - Fritz, Paul, and Shelton will all look for a Quarterfinal run this year. Carlos is the next face of this sport, there is no doubt. The Spaniard was just upset by Englishman Jack Draper in the Round of 16 of the Cinch Championships in London and will look to bounce back before Wimbledon.

He is 7-0 on grass over the last 52 weeks and has beaten a higher seed in his last two tournaments. At extremely plus-odds, Draper is a solid pick to become the first grand slam winner out of the UK since Murray in 2016 at Wimbledon.
It’s been brewing for the 25-year-old out of Sydney who is coming off an incredible Roland Garros tournament as he looks to continue the good run of play into England.
He hasn’t played well at this tournament in recent years, but comes in as the 7th best player in the world with three straight Round of 16 finishes or better over the 10 months. De Minaur’s speed and agility will be key to defeating some of the higher-seeded players if he were to get past the Round of 16.
While these players have virtually no shot at winning the tournament, they have a great chance to defeat some higher seeds in order to move onto the Round of 16 and beyond. These picks are perfect for early-round prop bets.
Eubanks’ style of play and personality is something to fall in love with. Iga finished in the Quarterfinals at Wimbledon last year as a 22-year-old, marking her best finish in the tournament to date. Ons Jabeur will be on her tail after losing in the finals each of the last two seasons - she comes in at +1600 which makes for fantastic odds and a low-risk.
Swiatek has been too consistent during her rise to stardom to pick against her for this Grand Slam where she will be ranked as the top player in the world coming in.
Andreeva could become the youngest Wimbledon women’s champion since Martina Hingis at 16 years of age. The Russian caught the tennis world’s attention after an incredible Roland Garros run where she won her first five matches (two against ranked opponents) but lost steam in the Semifinal match against Paolini.
Mirra has consistently improved over the last two to three years and comes into this tournament ranked 23rd in the world at just 17 years of age. She will join Coco Gauff as the only players 20 and under who have a real shot at the Wimbledon title.
Even though Mirra’s chances at lifting the trophy are slim, a Quarterfinal run is surely in the books if her stamina has improved since her French Open masterclass.
