This should be a fun game that features two teams within the top 10 in the league. Liverpool has been amazing, and they pulled out a draw on the road against a very tough Arsenal side last weekend.
Brighton, on the other hand, has been very up and down. While they should be happy to be sitting at 6th in the league, they are coming off a disappointing draw against Wolves last weekend.
Liverpool has been extremely good this season and having a home game should give them a lift in this matchup. Brighton has been surprisingly good in this head-to-head but suffered a 2-1 loss the last time they played at Liverpool.
Sunday is shaping up to be a very exciting day for the EPL, with this matchup starting the action. Aston Villa has been great this season and is unbeaten since their loss to Arsenal in the second week.
They are, however, coming into this game after giving up a draw on a 96th-minute goal against Bournemouth. While they still got a point, I am sure Villa will be looking to redeem that late collapse.
Tottenham is coming off of a shocking 1-0 loss against Crystal Palace last week. Before being shut out last week, they had scored 12 goals in 4 games, so it was shocking to see their offense look so stagnant.
Villa has a strong defense, so it will be a fun test between the two groups. Villa has won their last 2 games in Hotspur Stadium against the Spurs and will certainly be looking to keep that streak alive.
Man U has been plain bad for their standards this season. They currently sit at 14th in the league and haven’t seemed to be able to get it together.
Now, they will be looking to turn things around under the interim management of Ruud van Nistelrooy after sacking Erik Ten Hag. Chelsea have been looking clean so far this year. They are averaging over 2 goals a game and have losses only to Man City and Liverpool.
Led by 22-year-old Cole Palmer, Chelsea seems to be in contention for a Champions League spot after finishing last season in 6th. They will need to try and steal a road win against a Man U team that is desperate for a spark.
