Top Games

Manchester City at Newcastle

Newcastle started the season off hot, but they are coming off of a tough loss at the hands of Fulham. Newcastle is a solid squad, currently sitting 6th in the league table.

However, Man City is a title contender led by young superstars like Erling Haaland and Phil Foden. They are coming off of a draw against Arsenal last week in what have been the top two teams in the league for the past few years. They are in good form, and Newcastle hasn’t been too steady on defense so far this season.

Man City has dominated the last 5 matchups, and I don't expect much to change. This game should be fun and will be a big one for Newcastle who is seeking to stay in contention for the Champions League.

Brighton at Chelsea

Chelsea has gotten hot since their opening loss to Man City. Since then, they have won 3 of their last 4 and are coming off of a 3-0 win against West Ham. Brighton, on the other hand, hasn't been great. They still haven’t lost yet this season but have drawn all of their last 3 games.

Brighton are seventh in the Premier League table at the moment with nine points from five matches, just two points behind fourth-placed Arsenal. The Seagulls will head into the league game against Chelsea away from home at Stamford Bridge in London on the back of a 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest in front of their home fans.

Chelsea have won the last 2 matches between these teams and with their recent form, I expect them to keep it rolling. Both of these teams are fun and this should be a highly contested game between two teams looking to stay in contention at the top of the league.

Tottenham at Manchester United

This is a matchup between two of the most legendary teams in English Football who have been underperforming for the past couple of years. Both fan bases are hungry for success in league play, but we will see if they can boost themselves up after semi-shaky starts to the season.

Man U is coming off their worst Premier League finish in their history, and fans expect to see them contending for a Champions League spot. Tottenham performed well last season in 2023/24, finishing 5th in league play, one out of the Champions League.

The last time these two teams met, it ended in a 2-2 draw and I would expect equal amounts of excitement this time around. 3 of the last 5 matches between these two sides have ended with 4 or more goals, so expect some fireworks.
