Ligue 1 Sunday picks: PSG looks to continue early season barrage against Lille

The Parisian outfit has scored 10 goals in two games already this season while only allowing two

While it has not been exactly smooth sailing between the players on the pitch for Paris St. Germain, the performances have not suffered too much after two weeks of the Ligue 1 campaign.

PSG has hit for five goals twice, and can continue its "perfect" start to the season today against a good Lille side which is looking to bounce back from a down campaign in 2021-22.

The big question today is, who is going to take the penalty when it inevitably happens in the match today? Kylian Mbappe is the number one, but Neymar made the headlines last week taking the ball from his teammate and scoring after Mbappe missed.

Might Mbappe be regretting signing on with PSG instead of making the jump to Real Madrid?

Maybe more importantly, will this growing rift scupper PSG's chances to win the only trophy it does not have yet, the UEFA Champions League?

That is a long way off: for today, it will be interesting to see what happens on the pitch.
