Europe has never been short of talented young talents whose futures look bright. That said, who are the future stars of European Football? Who can you expect to be making headlines for years to come? Read on to find out.

Bruno Iglesias

Real Madrid's academy is brimming with brilliant young diamonds, but none shines brighter than midfielder Bruno Iglesias right now.

This season, the 18-year-old, who has been compared to Kaka, has already exceeded double figures in goals and assists with Madrid's Under-19s.

Iglesias is expected to make his first-team debut in 2022, though Arsenal and Manchester City are keeping an eye on his progress in the hope that his path to the senior team is unsuccessful.

Kacper Kozlowski

Kacper Kozlowski, the youngest player to ever appear in a European Championship final, is expected to be the banner for Polish soccer in the near future, having become a regular in the international team over the past year.

The 18-year-old midfielder, known for his crossing and dribbling ability, has recovered admirably from a car accident in 2020 that left him in a back brace and out of action for six months. Brighton paid £8 million to sign him from Pogon Szczecin early this year before loaning him to Belgian title contenders Union Saint-Gilloise for the remaining part of the season.

Nicolo Rovella

The 20-year-old midfielder is currently on loan from Juventus to Genoa for the second season.

Rovella can play as a midfielder or forward, where he has more experience and has grown as a player. He has superb passing abilities and makes sound decisions on the pitch. He can also keep the ball rolling because he has good dribbling skills. Despite not being a completely oblivious player, his athleticism can hinder defensive situations.

That notwithstanding, 2022 could be the year that Rovella is finally ready to be a Juventus option; he is a great talent who we still hope to see emerge and shine. So, keep an eye on him. Joe Scally

After training with New York City FC, the 18-year-old North American winger joined Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2021. Scally is now one of the best figures on the German side, one year later and after a brief stint in the German secondary team.

Scally can play as a right-back or left-back. Also, despite being right-footed, he is comfortable playing with both feet, which makes it very difficult to press him; this ability, blended with his good decision-making ability, makes him a very difficult player to counter. In defensive situations, his height is more noticeable, 1.84m, which is considered tall for a full-back. He is also corpulent and has a decent stride, allowing him to recover the position more easily.

Despite his young age, this young North American is displaying tremendous potential in a league as demanding as the Bundesliga, and the signs are quite encouraging.
