Carabao Cup Third Round gets underway Tuesday: which games should you bet, and which games should you avoid?

The big boys of the Premier League enter the fray, with the seven teams playing in the European competitions coming into the Carabao Cup Third Round

Sean Miller

Just when some of the clubs got momentum going in the EFL Carabao Cup, here come the big boys to ruin the party.

Well, for some, at least. Other teams might make a magical run to the two-legged semifinals, or even to Wembley, where Manchester City will be waiting.

I jest, but only slightly: City has won this trophy four years in a row, and five of seven, because of its roster depth.

But this City team is slightly unstable right now, and there could legitimately be 100 City fans in the Etihad Tuesday night.

Ten of the 16 games are tonight, with some tasty draws tomorrow. There are some games I think you could target tonight.

One match I would stay away from is that Manchester City v Wycombe Wanderers contest. City should roll, but I am not laying -3 before the match begins, even if this should be 8-0.
