Andrew Chase

It has been a while but I am back with five Major League Soccer plays to get the ball rolling this weekend. There are a ton of great fixtures the next few days, and a lot of games that hold ample opportunities to make some money. Let's get started with our game tonight at 8 pm EDT.

Inter Miami vs Orlando City - Friday at 8 pm EDT on Fox Sports 1

The Play: Orlando City Draw No Bet -170

Orlando have continued their run of excellence from last season, picking up one loss in their 9 games played this season. Coming off of a 5-0 beating on San Jose on Tuesday, Orlando are headed to a very overrated Miami side that has the names but not the form. With one win since the start of May, Miami have not won at home this season. It isn't a far trip for Orlando to make, and it won't be a hard game for them to win. Look for them to secure the three points tonight, with some insurance on your money betting the Draw No Bet for -170.

Chicago Fire vs Philadelphia Union - Saturday at 8 pm EDT on ESPN+

The Play: Philadelphia Union Draw No Bet -105

The Union are another team that was great to us last season, and they are right back near the top of the Eastern Conference after winning the Supporter's Shield for the best regular-season record several months ago. The Union have not lost since May 1, and have delivered results against the best of them. The Fire are dead last in the East, and although their brand carries weight in the MLS, that doesn't mean the line should be putting them in slight favor over the Union. I don't see the Fire getting their second win of the season up against this Philly powerhouse.

Atlanta United vs New York Red Bulls - Sunday at 3:30 pm EDT on Bally Sports South and ESPN+

The Play: NY Red Bulls Double Chance -135

Do you see a theme here? We are riding all away teams this weekend, banking on recent form and easy matchups. The Red Bulls flying to Atlanta for a Sunday afternoon game is no different, with them offering two results for our money at a nice price. New York has not lost to Atlanta since 2018, boasting a record of 7 wins, 2 draws, and one loss in their last 10 meetings. They have had a slip of form but with good reason. Two losses to league leading New England, and one to Philadelphia does not make me worry that they can't put away an overrated Atlanta United team that once again cannot figure things out for themselves. Atlanta have not won once since late April, and have had five draws during that time. Let's cash in on another draw or the historical New York dominance with this Double Chance play on Sunday.

Austin FC vs Columbus Crew - Sunday at 8 pm EDT on Fox Sports 1

The Play: Columbus Crew Double Chance -170

Austin FC has had the most hype surrounding a new MLS team in a long time. This is largely due to the exciting city of Austin, Texas, along with owner Matthew McConaughey bringing the energy wherever he goes. This hype has not translated to the field, with a record of 2-3-5 in their debut season in the MLS. Looking for their first win since May 1, I will not be backing Austin to grab their first home victory against the formidable Columbus Crew. The Crew are fifth in the East and after a slow start have found their footing, only bearing losses against top sides Philadelphia and New England, just like the Red Bulls. With very similar reasoning to the Red Bulls pick, it is time to cheer on the Crew on Sunday night.

FC Dallas vs New England Revolution - Sunday at 9 pm EDT on ESPN+

The Play: New England Revolution Draw No Bet -110

This play is as simple as it gets. We are jumping on the best team in the MLS with an almost perfect 7-2-1 record in New England, facing off against the weakest team in the West, FC Dallas. I am grabbing this value early, because as the weekend presses on I see this line moving in favor of New England very quickly. Dallas have had four draws this season to pair with their four losses, which is why I like the Draw No Bet more than the Moneyline to put a bit of insurance on your bet. It would be a shock to see New England pick up 0 points here on Sunday night.

Best of luck to everyone on your plays. Follow me on Twitter @AndySoccerLocks for more updates, plays, and conversations about the games. Thank you for your trust, and let's win some money!
