Manchester City, Chelsea, get early UEFA Champions League Final preview, with big prizes on line
Just days after both teams advanced to the 2021 UEFA Champions League Final, Manchester City and Chelsea will meet in the Premier League.
City wins the title with a victory Saturday afternoon, while Chelsea needs the points to stay ahead of West Ham United, Liverpool, and Tottenham in the battle for top four.
Of course, if Chelsea wins the Champions League, the Blues are automatically in the competition next season. By the time that game is played (Saturday, May 29), they will know their fate. But either way, they will want that big-eared European Cup.
The early game and late game also have top four and European implications, with Tottenham visiting Leeds United, and Liverpool hosting its old feeder club Southampton.
Tottenham can jump up to within two points of Chelsea with a win, and a Chelsea loss, while Liverpool (still with a game in hand) can move to 57 points with a victory.
I am going to take all the favorites: Tottenham, Liverpool, and City, which would clinch the title.
