Can PSG dethrone European champions Bayern Munich and set up a massive semifinal?
What a first leg PSG and Bayern Munich played out last week in the UEFA Champions League Quarterfinals.
Now, the teams will go at it Tuesday in Paris, with PSG leading 3-2 from last Wednesday. Kylian Mbappe showed why he is the favorite for the Ballon d’Or, scoring twice to send his team home with a lead in the tie, and three away goals.
If PSG gets a goal today, Bayern will need to score three, without the services of Robert Lewandowski, who is still out with a knee injury.
Without Lewandowski, I have to side with Mbappe and Neymar here, and maybe take a chance on PSG to win the whole tournament. An aside to this game: this will be the 11th time these two teams have played, and there have been no draws (6-4 to PSG).
In the other match, Chelsea should have enough to see off Porto and move on to the semis.
