Bayern Munich, PSG, limp into UEFA Champions League quarters

There will be no Robert Lewandowski, the reigning World Player of the Year, and no Serge Gnabry for Bayern Munich Wednesday, as the Germans clash with PSG in a rematch of the 2020 UEFA Champions League Final.

But that might not matter: somehow, PSG is sputtering in Ligue 1, and comes into this Champions League Quarterfinal first leg out of form. Even with all the offensive firepower they have, the Parisians can’t score with regularity, something that hurt them in the final.

PSG is without Marco Verratti, which could be as big of a loss as Lewandowski.

If Bayern can find a way to head to Paris with a lead, it could prove to be the difference.
