Monday Premier League: Miller picks Everton vs Crystal Palace, Wolves vs West Ham

Everton (-120) vs. Crystal Palace (+400), draw (+235), 1 p.m. EDT (Peacock); Wolves (+175) vs. West Ham (+170), draw (+210), 3:15 p.m. EDT (Peacock)

Sean Miller

West Ham United can move into Premier League top four with win Monday

Who had West Ham United as a potential top four team when the season began in September?

No you did not, so put down your hand. NOBODY had the Hammers that high in the table. But here they are, with a chance to move into fourth on 52 points with eight games to go in the season. West Ham would jump Chelsea, Liverpool, and Tottenham with a win today over Wolves in the late game.

With a very manageable schedule, and games against Chelsea and Everton, UEFA Champions League football is in the grasp of the Hammers. Declan Rice’s injury could prove to derail the run, though, if he is out for the rest of the season.

In the first match Monday, Everton (with two games in hand) will also think it has a shot at the Champions League. If the Toffees can win today against Crystal Palace, they will be in prime position as well.

It should be an interesting seven weeks of Premier League action.
