For Leipzig, a win would see the team with a real chance to break the near decade-long stranglehold on the title by Bayern, and deliver the first piece of silverware to this 11-year project.
Bayern Munich also has a rematch of the 2020 UEFA Champions League Final on Wednesday in the Champions League quarters, as the Germans head to Paris to take on PSG.
