Two Premier League games highlight Monday schedule, before UEFA games Tuesday
While the two games scheduled Monday for the Premier League do not look to be marquee matchups, they could both be entertaining contests, especially with the way the league is starting to play out early in the season.
Burnley comes into the early match against Crystal Palace in 19th place, and one of three teams to win a match so far in 2020-21. But the Clarets are two matches behind most teams in the table (one today, one from Week 1 against Manchester United), and could jump out of the bottom three with a win today.
The second match pits Wolverhampton against Southampton, with both teams looking to stay in and around the European spots: the Saints could jump up into third with an away win, while Wolves could move up to seventh.
Palace has allowed a goal in seven of its eight games, and Burnley is 19th. I will take Palace on the pick line, and take a shot with the over as well.
