Premier League Sunday: Sean Miller picks Newcastle vs Everton and Tottenham vs Brighton & Hove Albion

Where and when to watch: Newcastle vs Everton, 9 a.m. EDT on NBCSN and Fubo.tv; Tottenham vs Brighton, 2:15 p.m. EDT on Peacock

Sean Miller

Order is slowly being restored to the chaos of the early Premier League table.

As teams start to catch up with their extra matches, and they play themselves into shape (the two Manchester clubs and Wolves come to mind first), the table will start to look more like it usually does over the coming weeks and months.

Everton is still holding on to a top four spot, and can move back to the top of the table with an away win today at Newcastle United. But the Toffees hit the road undermanned through suspensions and injuries, and are going to have to weather a tough period of games with their backups.

In the late game, Tottenham comes back into league play after an atrocious (ATROCIOUS) showing Thursday in Belgium. You would think Jose Mourinho will not stand for a second awful performance in a row, so look for Spurs to show some life against Brighton & Hove Albion.
