Happy Halloween everyone! We’ve got a game in Nashville tonight before 22 of the 26 MLS teams play tomorrow as we begin the final stretch of the regular season.
Nashville were a team most of us wrote off at the restart of the regular season. They were not the most consistent team form wise, and it was hard to predict what they were going to do.
Over their past four matches however, Nashville have won three and drew one. They have not lost at home since the restart, and are facing a disappointing Chicago Fire side that are on the outside looking in of the MLS Eastern Conference playoff picture.
Chicago have not won on the road this season, and their only four wins are against teams in the bottom five of the league. I don’t see this trend changing tonight against a Nashville team that is on fire and looking to push into the Top 6 in the East. Nashville will be rocking tonight for Halloween I’m sure, and their MLS team will walk out unscathed to boot.
