Andrew Elmquist

Did anyone think we’d make it to Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final? After the Florida Panthers took a 3-0 series lead over the Edmonton Oilers, it seemed like it was all over but the crying.

However, the Oilers have stormed back to win the last two games and are hoping they have enough gas left in the tank tonight to force a Game 7.

This has been an entertaining series for NHL fans, and we are certainly excited to see what will go down tonight. With that in mind, we’ve compiled our favorite bets and player props from the action, hoping to sweep the books tonight. Let’s get into it!

Edmonton Oilers Moneyline (-112, SuperBook)

The books are split on the moneyline tonight. The Panthers are looked at as a pick 'em across the board, while the Oilers are given a slight edge.

Given the fact that momentum is on their side and that they are home tonight, we are riding the hot hand in this one.

-112 was the best we could find, but the other major books had this at -120, giving you plenty of versatility no matter which book you prefer!

OVER 5.5 Total Goals (-110, FanDuel)

This series started off trending towards the under in every game. However, with the Oilers putting on a scoring barrage in their last two games, we have no choice but to take the over in Game 6 as well.

Sure, both of these goalies have been fantastic when called upon, but the offense has prevailed, especially in Game 4.

Look for another hot start tonight, with both teams getting the puck in the back of the net early on in the contest.

Sergei Bobrovsky OVER 0.5 First Period Goals Against

We like to take player props that align with our analysis of the game. Because we believe both teams will get on the board early in this one, it makes sense that the Oilers will score at least one goal against Bobrovsky in the first period.

He has allowed a first-period goal in each of the last two games, and in a hostile environment in Edmonton, we believe he’ll falter once again.

Connor McDavid OVER 0.5 Goals

If you’ve read over our picks in recent history, you probably know that we love Connor McDavid. I mean, who doesn’t?

McDavid is one of the best hockey players on the planet at the moment, and he’s been an absolute monster this series.

He has scored at least one goal in his last two games, and with so much on the line, we love his odds of scoring again tonight.
