We’ve officially made it to Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final! The Florida Panthers have a commanding 2-0 series lead over the Edmonton Oilers, who have their backs up against a wall.
Can the Oilers fight back and make this a series? Or, similarly to how things currently stand in the NBA, will the Panthers take a 3-0 lead in the series, effectively ending the Oilers' season?
Considering how much is on the line, we’re excited to see tonight’s game play out. Take a look at our picks below to see our best and player props!
Most sportsbooks have the Oilers with odds at least -135 on the moneyline. This was the case with the Dallas Mavericks in Game 3 of the NBA Finals, and that didn’t exactly go well for bettors.
We’re riding the hot hand with the Panthers here, believing they’ll move one game closer to winning their first Stanley Cup as an organization.

Similar to our analysis of the Panthers' moneyline, we’re riding the hot streak of the under in this game. Both of these goalies are playing out of their minds at the moment, which is a big reason why we’re taking the under in this spot.
The Panthers don’t let up a ton of goals, yet another example of why the under makes sense. Plus, it’s a great pair with one of our favorite player props!
This is a no-brainer for us. Bobrovsky has only allowed one goal in this series, an indication of how hot he’s playing at the moment.
Sure, the Oilers have players like Connor McDavid who can take over a game at a moment’s notice, but between Bobrovsky and the pesky Panthers defense, we’re not projecting a big game from any of their scorers.
Because we expect this to be a low-scoring affair tonight, we also think that Skinner isn’t going to be needed as much as he was in Game 2.
We anticipate an all-around defensive battle, leaving the Panthers with limited opportunities to put up a lot of shots. With that in mind, we’re fading Skinner’s save total in this one.
