Buffalo Sabres (+140) @ New Jersey Devils (-160), 7 pm EDT

This is a battle between the 7th and 8th place teams in the East. Buffalo has recently found some success, and New Jersey has proven to be a tough test for anyone this season despite their record. New Jersey is 4-6 in their last 10, including victories over Pittsburgh & Boston. Buffalo is 2-8 in their last 10, but have shown signs of life recently with victories over Philadelphia and New York.

New Jersey has proven itself to be a tall task for anyone in the East. Look to get behind the Devils here as they should reign supreme in a tightly contested battle. Buffalo has a little momentum right now, but New Jersey has been performing much better all season and they'll be playing at home. The price is starting to creep up so catch it before it gets too high. Take the NJ Moneyline.

PICK: New Jersey Devils Moneyline (-160)

Nashville Predators (-150) @ Detroit Red Wings (+130), 7:30 pm EDT

The surging Nashville Predators travel to Detroit Tuesday to face a struggling, yet surprisingly resilient Red Wings team that just pulled off the upset of the season – a 5-1 domination of the Tampa Bay Lightning. Tampa Bay is expected to be one half of the Stanley Cup picture this season, so we can't completely write Detroit off just yet. 4-1 in their last 5 games, Nashville is fresh off of an impressive 3-0 thumping of the Chicago Blackhawks Sunday. The Predators are 8-2 in their last 10, including back-to-back dominant victories over Detroit in that stretch.

The Red Wings are 4-6 in their last 10 and currently sit in last place in the Central division. Although Detroit has the ability to pull a rabbit out of the hat once in a while, they don't do it often enough to win me over. Nashville on the other hand, has been much more consistent. Take Nashville here at a good price on the Moneyline.

PICK: Nashville Predators Moneyline (-150)
