Saints vs Broncos: 5 Player Prop Picks for Thursday Night Football

Matt Brown

Thursday Night Football pits the New Orleans Saints (2-4) against the Denver Broncos (3-3) in what we believe is a must-watch clash with plenty of intriguing player prop bets. These aren’t the best teams in the league, but there’s no doubt going to be a lot of great action on the field.

With that, we’ve done the research and found 5 of the best player props you just might want to bet on for TNF.

Alvin Kamara Over 33.5 Receiving Yards

  • Prop Odds: -140

Alvin Kamara has been the Saints' most reliable offensive weapon this season. This is especially true with the team’s top wideout Chris Olave dealing with injuries.

Kamara's involvement in the passing game has been a lifeline for New Orleans, and we don’t think that Thursday night will be any different.

He has consistently cleared 30 yards in the air, and with Spencer Rattler potentially looking to dump off under pressure, expect Kamara to be one of the main targets of the game.

The Bronco's defense has been solid against the run but more vulnerable in the passing game, making Kamara Over 33.5 yards a solid bet heading into this TNF matchup.

Courtland Sutton Over 44.5 Receiving Yards

  • Prop Odds: -125

Courtland Sutton is emerging as Bo Nix’s go-to option, particularly when the Broncos need to move the chains.

He’s averaging close to 50 yards per game and has hit this mark in most of Denver’s matchups this season. New Orleans has a tough defense, but they can be leaky in coverage, especially with injuries piling up in their secondary.

Sutton’s ability to win contested catches will be key against the New Orleans secondary, and this line of 44.5 receiving yards feels more than attainable.

His rapport with Nix should give you enough confidence in this bet.

Spencer Rattler Over 0.5 Passing Touchdowns

  • Prop Odds: -220

Despite a shaky season for the Saints, Spencer Rattler has shown flashes of potential. In a game where New Orleans will likely rely more on the passing game, this prop bet looks promising.

Rattler has only played a single game (last week) and racked up 243 yards with a TD. Of course, that came with a pair of interceptions as well. But we don’t care about the INTs, what we really care about is his TDs and we see no reason for him to not get at least one in this game.

A Denver defense that has been opportunistic but not flawless, Rattler should be able to find the end zone at least once. With Kamara, Taysom Hill, and other big playmakers downfield, he’s got the tools to hit this over.

Javonte Williams Anytime TD Scorer

  • Prop Odds: +150

The Broncos’ running game hasn’t been particularly stellar, but Javonte Williams remains a key part of their red zone offense.

While he hasn’t been used extensively between the 20s, Williams is often used the most near the goal line. This makes him a solid candidate for an anytime touchdown in this matchup.

With New Orleans giving up plenty of scores on the ground this season (currently ranked 20 in run defense giving up 7 rushing TDs), this pick at +150 offers excellent value, especially for a game that could be lower scoring and more reliant on rushing attacks in the red zone.

Bo Nix Over 187.5 Passing Yards

  • Prop Odds: -115

Bo Nix has been a solid performer through the air, often exceeding our expectations in terms of yardage.

Even though the Saints' secondary is fairly solid, the sheer volume of Nix’s pass attempts makes this line of 187.5 passing yards a nice bet we’re going to put on our bet slip.

He’ll likely have to throw to keep the Broncos in the game, especially if Denver finds themselves trailing early on. Nix has shown he can rack up yards quickly with his arm, and New Orleans’ secondary, while strong, isn’t invulnerable.

We see Nix blowing through 187.5 yards with no problems.

Make Your Player Prop Bets for TNF!

These prop picks give a nice mix of overs and touchdown scorers to target in Thursday’s matchup. Of course, there are countless other props out there, these are just some of the best ones we’ve seen in terms of winning the bet.

Kamara and Sutton should thrive in their respective passing games, while Williams and Rattler offer value in the touchdown markets. Keep an eye on game-day news, but these bets give you the edge heading into Saints vs Broncos.
