Let’s dig into the top prop bets for the game based on recent performance, matchups, and betting lines from the biggest sportsbooks in the industry.
Odds: -125
Brandon Aiyuk has been a dominant part of the 49ers' passing game. Even with other targets like Deebo Samuel and George Kittle in the mix, he’s still one of the priorities on the team.
He’s consistently involved, and when Brock Purdy needs to move the chains, Aiyuk is one of the first looks.
He’s had at least five receptions in several games this season, and Seattle’s pass defense, which ranks middle of the pack, should allow him plenty of opportunities to rack up catches.
Given the juice on this bet, Aiyuk should hit the Over 4.5 receptions with no problem at all. This is especially true with the Seahawks likely focusing extra attention on Deebo and Kittle. Take this easy bet and cash in.
Odds: -105
Geno Smith has quietly added value with his legs this season, but it doesn’t get as much attention as some of the other players. Against a 49ers defense that loves to bring pressure, he’ll likely need to scramble a few times.
San Francisco’s pass rush, led by Nick Bosa, will force Geno to leave the pocket, creating a few more rushing opportunities than usual.
While 15.5 rushing yards isn’t a huge number, Smith’s mobility makes him a solid bet to go over this total. In fact, he can hit it with a single snap. He’s hit this number in four out of five games, and with the 49ers’ defensive line, we should see him running for key first downs in this one.
Odds: -125
Kenneth Walker III has emerged as the Seahawks' go-to guy on the ground and, to no surprise, in the red zone.
He’s already posted several rushing touchdowns this season, and Seattle’s offense will undoubtedly lean on him to break through against the 49ers’ tough defense.
Though San Francisco is stout against the run, Walker’s red-zone usage makes him a good bet to score. If Seattle gets close to the goal line, we expect him to be the muscle that punches it through for the TD.
Walker’s odds of scoring at least one touchdown in this game are pretty decent, and with Seattle looking to establish the run, he’s all set for a red-zone score. Getting more than a TD might be a stretch, but getting 1 in shouldn’t be a problem.
Odds: -110
While Deebo Samuel is known for his receiving ability, he’s frequently used in creative rushing situations.
This prop sits at just 12.5 rushing yards, which feels like a low number for someone as dynamic as Samuel, especially with how often Kyle Shanahan schemes him into the run game. It’s apparent that he’s one of the favorites on the squad and we can see why.
Deebo has topped this mark in multiple games this season, and against a Seattle defense that could overcommit to stopping Jordan Mason, Samuel will likely see a few handoffs or jet sweeps. Taking the over on 12.5 rushing yards feels like one of the safer bets in this matchup and the odds show that.
Odds: -115
Brock Purdy has been a steady hand under center for the 49ers. While he’s had some ups and downs and is by no means the best passer in the game, he remains a solid passer with a loaded set of weapons. Seattle’s defense, particularly their secondary, hasn’t been elite this season. This gives Purdy a clear path to hitting this passing total.
With playmakers like Aiyuk, Samuel, and Kittle, Purdy can hit the over on 251.5 passing yards, especially in a game that could turn into a back-and-forth battle.
If the 49ers can establish a balanced attack on all fronts, expect Purdy to sling the ball around and easily surpass this yardage total before the 4th quarter.
These prop picks are all based on what we’ve seen in recent trends and matchups for Thursday night’s 49ers vs. Seahawks game.
Brandon Aiyuk and Brock Purdy should feast on a Seattle defense that has shown plenty of vulnerability, while Geno Smith and Kenneth Walker III will always be key contributors for the Seahawks.
Keep an eye on these props for a bit more excitement on Thursday Night Football.
