The Chiefs, reigning Super Bowl champs, are 4-0, while the Saints are hoping to snap a two-game losing streak after a strong start to their season. With the Chiefs being 5.5-point favorites and the total set at 43 points, this matchup provides some great player prop picks you might want to check out.

Here are five of the best player props to target for this MNF showdown.

Alvin Kamara to Score 1+ Rush TD & 1+ Receiving TD

  • Odds: +1000

Alvin Kamara is the Saints' go-to offensive weapon. Against a tough Chiefs team, they’ll need him to be at his best.

While Kamara is only a few games into his season after a suspension, he’s already shown that he’s the versatile threat he’s been for years.

Kansas City's defense ranks top 10, but Kamara’s dual-threat ability will put pressure on them.

Kamara to score both a rushing and receiving touchdown offers tremendous value at +1000. Those odds aren’t bad and sure, it’s a moon shot, but we think this could be a big win.

The Saints will likely lean on Kamara in the red zone, and his ability to break tackles makes him a good bet for finding the end zone in multiple ways. We wouldn’t bank on anyone else getting a TD on the ground and the air other than Kamara.

Carson Steele to Have 15+ Rush Attempts

  • Odds: +1600

Although Steele isn't a household name yet, he’s emerged as a key contributor to the Saints’ running game.

The Chiefs have allowed 108 rushing yards per game, and if the Saints want to control the clock and keep Patrick Mahomes off the field, they will need to rely on the ground game. That’s where Steele will shine.

At +1600 for 15+ rush attempts, we think this is a sneaky good value.

Steele’s bruising running style could lead to a heavy workload, especially if the Saints try to establish the run early and control the tempo over the reigning champs.

Travis Kelce to Have 89+ Receiving Yards

  • Odds: +200

Despite the attention that Travis Kelce draws for various reasons, he continues to be the most reliable target for Mahomes.

With Rashee Rice out due to injury, Kelce's role becomes even more important for the Chiefs’ potent offense.

He’s coming off a game where he recorded 89 yards, and he’ll be looking to build on that against a Saints defense that ranks among the league's best but has struggled at times against elite tight ends.

Kelce to go over 89 yards at +200 is a solid pick, especially with Mahomes likely to target him heavily in key situations. This would be a tough one to swallow, but with Rice on the sideline, we can’t help but take it.

Patrick Mahomes to Have 125+ Pass Yards in Each Half

  • Odds: +250

Patrick Mahomes hasn’t been as explosive as in previous years, but he’s still racking up passing yards.

Against a Saints defense that ranks in the top five against the pass, Mahomes will need to be sharp. He has that potential.

However, the Chiefs’ offensive scheme and Mahomes’ talent give him a good chance to hit 125+ passing yards in each half, which is listed at +250.

The Chiefs’ reliance on their passing game, especially with their running back room thinned out a bit by injuries, makes this prop a decent option. We’ll take this bet all day long with Mahomes under center.

Chris Olave to Have 80+ Receiving Yards

  • Odds: +215

Chris Olave has quickly become the top receiving option for Derek Carr, and the Saints will need his deep-threat ability to stretch the field against the Chiefs’ defense.

While Kansas City’s defense has been strong, they haven’t faced many receivers of Olave’s caliber this season.

Olave’s speed and route-running make him a candidate for a big play, and with the Saints likely to be trailing, Carr could turn to him often. Olave going over 80 yards at +215 is a pretty good value considering his target share in this offense. This could be one of those bets that really pays off at the end of regulation.
