49ers vs Rams: 5 Player Prop Picks for Sunday Afternoon Football

49ers vs Rams: Bet on Purdy, Mason, Samuel, and Warner to Deliver

Matt Brown

The 49ers vs. Rams game is shaping into an intense divisional matchup, and player prop bets offer a great way for you to get involved in the action.

These are our best prop bets heading into Sunday’s game. Let's go win some money!

Brock Purdy Passer Rating Over 100

Brock Purdy is set for a strong performance against a Rams defense that has struggled to contain quarterbacks this season.

In his first two games, Purdy recorded a passer rating of 101.3 in Week 2 after an 89.9 in Week 1. Given the Rams allowed Arizona's Kyler Murray to post a perfect 158.3 rating, Purdy should easily get over the 100 mark. Especially with his accuracy (72.3% completion rate) and the many offensive weapons at his disposal.

The Rams' pass defense, ranked 24th, is a big opportunity for Purdy to continue his upward trend.

Jordan Mason For Over 75 Rushing Yards

The 49ers’ running game has been a key part of their success this season. And to go along with that, Jordan Mason has been a standout star thus far.

He leads the NFL in carries (48) through two weeks, and his physical style matches up well against the Rams' weak rushing defense, which is ranked 30th and has allowed 197 yards per game.

Mason's ability to continue to pump out yards, along with San Francisco's run-heavy attack, means he will most likely surpass the 75-yard mark in this game.

Deebo Samuel to Record Over 80 Receiving Yards

Deebo Samuel has been a reliable target for Purdy and already has 164 receiving yards through two games. That’s a pretty strong start for the veteran WR.

Given the Rams’ issues in defending the pass (24th ranked), Deebo is in a good position to have another productive outing on Sunday afternoon.

He's averaging 82 yards per game, and with the Rams’ depleted secondary, Samuel will likely go beyond 80 yards, especially as the 49ers are expected to exploit the Rams' vulnerabilities in the air. This is an easy prop bet for this game.

Fred Warner to Record at Least One Sack or Turnover

Fred Warner is coming off a monster game in Week 2. He recorded a sack, interception, forced fumble, and pass breakup against the dominant Vikings.

Warner’s disruptive presence is a major asset for the 49ers’ defense, and the Rams' offensive line has been struggling.

Matthew Stafford will undoubtedly be under pressure, and Warner is bound to capitalize on this.

Whether it’s a sack, interception, or forced fumble, expect Warner to be all over the field and make at least one game-changing play. He’s showing that he can lead a defense.

Kyren Williams Under 50 Rushing Yards

The Rams’ running game has been a sore spot this season. With Kyren Williams averaging just 37.5 yards per game and 2.5 yards per carry, it’s easy to see why.

Facing the 49ers' solid run defense, which ranks 12th and allows just 107 yards per game, Williams is unlikely to find much room to run. He’s good, but the 49ers defense is better.

San Francisco’s front seven, led by Nick Bosa and Fred Warner, will make life difficult for Williams, keeping him well under the 50-yard mark.
