This matchup featuring the 2-0 Chiefs and 1-1 Falcons should start as a low scoring affair, but expect Travis Kelce to finally turn in a noteworthy performance after a slow start to his season.
Kelce was one of our 10 best anytime TD bets for week 3, but we're taking it even further with this same game parlay and betting on him scoring 2 touchdowns against the Falcons.
This SGP has +550 odds, meaning a $10 bet would pay out $560! Best of luck with all of your Sunday Night Football wagers.
The loss of Isaiah Pacheco will be felt in Kansas City’s first game without the star power back since missing Week 15 of last season. The Chiefs heavily rely on Pacheco on short down distances and through the air - something Carson Steele will have to pick up in his first starting gig.
As for Atlanta, even Kirk Cousins has mentioned that he’s not 100% within this offense yet. Although the win in Philly is due to give this squad some momentum, their defense is the bread and butter of who they are and as for Kansas City, their defense will give Kirk problems during the first half and apply pressure in a way the Eagles couldn’t.
Mooney eclipsed this mark on that last drive in the Eagles game where Kirk Cousins found him twice on the left sideline en route to one of the best comebacks in Falcon history. While only a Week 2 game, Darnell Mooney long-term looks like the WR2 on this team as Cousins simply needs to build up chemistry with him in those short to medium route trees that made Mooney succeed in a few seasons in Chicago.
With KC playing some zone defense on early down and distances, look for Mooney to sit in between the slot and linebackers to catch a few passes from Kirk to hit this mark once again.
Our long-shot bet for SNF goes to Travis Kelce, who’s been awfully quiet during his first two games this season. Maybe pressure from fantasy owners and maybe due to pressure from the “Swifties”, but we believe Week 3 will finally be the “Travis Kelce week” on primetime. With Pacheco out and Rashee Rice getting most of the attention from the defensive backs, Kelce has a chance to shine against a Falcon defense that hasn’t faced a top tier tight end yet this season.
Kelce has scored 2 or more touchdowns through the first three weeks of each season dating back to 2020 displaying his incredible consistency. I’m looking for more slot snaps from Travis while his red zone target share will rise during this SNF matchup. Kelce is no stranger to scoring in bunches, hauling in 4 and then 3 TDs in two separate games during his 2022 campaign.
