DraftKings Thursday Night Football Boost: How to Claim it and Our Favorite Picks

Bills vs. Dolphins: Top DraftKings Parlay Picks for Thursday Night Football

Mitchell LeBrun

You don’t want to miss this week’s Thursday night football game, with the Bills taking on the Dolphins in this early-season AFC East vs. South matchup! We love this game. Both teams possess the ability to move the ball down the field fast, which could turn this into a shootout. Josh Allen put up a particularly elite game with four touchdowns in only week one. The only thing better than this matchup is the DraftKings bonuses for it! They’re already offering some great bonuses with a 50% same-game parlay profit boost for the matchup. That’s on top of their already stellar welcome offer for new players. So if you don’t have an account already, you should consider jumping in on the action. Miami Vs. Bills Breakdown and Favorite Same Game Parlay Picks

Getting the NFL started out right in Miami with the Bills on the road this week. At the time of the writing, this matchup seems to be a bit tricky as the Dolphins have multiple players questionable for the game. Both Mostert and Achane took some hits over the weekend, which makes their availability for the game up in the air. Both missed practice on Monday, but that may be out of an abundance of caution. Regardless, following a close win over an in-state rival, Jacksonville, the Dolphins may have to rely heavily on the passing game. Though, they already seemed to do that last week.

The Dolphins put up 400 yards last weekend, 319 of which came through the air. In classic fashion that we’ve come to expect, speed was the answer for Miami. Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle continue to be the workhorse of the offense, with over 100 yards by both. However, this may play right into the Bills' strengths, as they will likely have a nasty pass rush with the Bills stacking up 4 sacks in their season opener against the Cardinals.

The Bills did most of their damage against the Cardinals on the ground, with Josh Allen and James Cook's tandem making for a punishing rushing combo. It will likely be a clash of two opposing philosophies: Buffalo's smashmouth ground attack and Miami's air raid. Either way, these teams thrive through their offensive attacks. We expect to see points on the board early and often in this matchup!

Our Favorite DraftKings SGP Picks

As we expect this game to be full of scoring opportunities, we’ll focus primarily on rushing and passing props for this DraftKings SGP. The offer requires players to have at least a 4-leg parlay to qualify for the 50% profit boost. So, we’ll give you some of our favorite picks that manage risk while giving you juicy odds!

Josh Allen Anytime TD

For the first leg of this parlay, we have to go with the easiest line. Considering Allen scored 2 rushing TDs on top of 2 passing TDs last week, we feel confident he can at least score one this week. The line is currently sitting at -115, which isn’t a super juicy line but an anchor bet. Allen has been the most prolific rushing QB in the NFL for years. The only worry about this pick is the fact Miami held Jacksonville to just 128 rushing yards last weekend. Regardless, that may have just come down to matchup, and we expect Buffalo will be a different animal on the ground compared to the Jags.

Tua Tagovailoa OVER 250+ Passing Yards

This is another excellent take. Tua has been shown to have canon for an arm, especially in the early season. With such a blue-chip receiver core and banged-up running back group, Miami might be forced to air it out. Pair that with a reasonably middle-of-the-road Bills secondary. The Dolphins could find similar success through the air as last week. Tua should be able to get to 250 yards handily, barring the Bills pass rush getting to him. This line is currently at -165, which fits perfectly into our risk evaluation for this game and this parlay.

James Cook OVER 50+ Rushing Yards

Once again, we are playing it safe in this parlay. James Cook has proven himself to be one of the lead-backs not only on this offense but also in the league. Following his dominant performance against what might be a bottom 3 defenses last week, 50 rushing yards looks pretty doable. Even if he doesn’t go off for another 100+ yard game, this seems like straightforward line to toss in. He’ll receive plenty of opportunities this Thursday, so even if he’s not breaking away for some huge runs, this line should still be fine. Currently, at -215, the books feel the same way about it.

Jaylen Waddle OVER 50+ Receiving Yards

Considering his dominant performance, 50+ may only be 1 or 2 receptions for the WR2 on Miami. He more than doubled it last week, and facing this Bills D, he may be able to find similar success. We’re hedging a little bit here on the lower line, however, keeping it well within reason for the veteran back. We would have tossed in a T Hill leg here, but DraftKings has his lines at a much less favorable number, so Waddle will work here instead.

How to Claim the DraftKings Welcome Offer

The DraftKings welcome is still our favorite on the market right now! You’ll get $250 in bonus bets when you sign up, deposit at least $10, and then make a $5 bet. It’s the best way to start the NFL season with a little extra money in your bankroll. They are also still offering a month of free NFL+ Premium, so if you want to watch all the games, they have you covered. Pair that with all their regular boosts and other bonuses for the NFL. It’s hard to miss. They have been doing this 50% boost for most of the big games, plus the Thursday and Monday games. So, even if you don’t get to this one, there will be more on the horizon for you to jump on.

The signup process for DraftKings is also super simple. They just ask for some basic personal info, such as name, date of birth, address, email, phone number, and a few others. The verification process is also super fast, so you’ll be up and running quickly.

Terms for the Welcome offer and SGP boost

There are some things to be aware of regarding the sign-up bonus. The $5 bet you must make must be settled before you get the $250 bonus. So don’t put the bet on a far-out game, or you’ll be waiting a while for your bonus money. Once you get the bonus, you’ll have 30 days to use it. So don’t sit around on it. Make your bets, get through the bonus, and hit as many bets as possible. When you make your bets, you’ll receive only the winning amount from your bet. So if you bet $25 on a +100 line and win, you’ll receive $25 in your account. The great thing is that the bonus money is then withdrawn after that. So, if you do well with your early bets, you can make some money.

For the 50% same-game parlay boost, you have to make a 4-game parlay. Each leg of the parlay has to be above -500 odds. It’s not a hard bar to cross, but if you’re not seeing the credit appear when you have your parlay together, check to ensure all the legs are above that line. The maximum bet on the parlay is $10, too. Other than that, it’s a fairly standard same-game parlay process.
