The Chiefs won the game 38-35, coming back in the fourth quarter. It was the franchise's third Super Bowl victory after Super Bowl IV, way back when Len Dawson was the quarterback, and Super Bowl LIV. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes earned MVP status.

In doing so, Mahomes became the first player since 1999, since Kurt Warner, to win the NFL MVP and Super Bowl MVP in the same season.

Interesting Facts about Super Bowl LVII

The last time the Super Bowl was in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area was back in 2015.

That game was held at the same stadium, which was then called the University of Phoenix Stadium.

Super Bowl LVII was broadcast by the American network Fox. The game became the third most popular program in the history of American television, bringing together more than 112.2 million viewers.

Interestingly, during the halftime, the number of viewers increased to 118.7 million. Thanks, Rihanna. It was her first public performance in a few years. The Barbadian superstar performed several of her big hits, including "Where Have You Been" and "Only Girl (In the World)."

This year's Super Bowl LVII halftime show was hosted by Apple Music Interestingly, until the last 10 years, all events were sponsored by Pepsi.

Super Bowl LVII's home team was the Eagles. For their uniforms, they chose their homemade green jerseys with white pants. The Chiefs played as an away team wearing white shirts with red pants.

The Eagles trained for the game at the Arizona Cardinals training facility. The Chiefs chose Arizona State as their training ground. Both are located in Tempe, Arizona.

The game has received several unofficial titles:

  1. The Andy Reid Bowl. This is because Chiefs coach Reid had coached the Eagles from 1999 to 2012.

  2. The Kelce Bowl. Super Bowl LVII was the first Super Bowl meeting of brothers - Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Eagles center Jason Kelce.

  • This Super Bowl was the first in NFL history to start two Black quarterbacks, Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts;

  • Mahomes and Herts also became the youngest pair of quarterbacks in Super Bowl history. Mahomes was 27 years old, Hurts 24 years old;

  • Super Bowl LVII featured two Australian players for the first time, Arryn Siposs and Jordan Mailata

Before the start of Super Bowl LVII, R&B artist Babyface performed "America the Beautiful" and Chris Stapleton (American country artist) performed "The Star-Spangled Banner." But the most exciting thing was waiting for the audience during the break when the performer Rihanna appeared on the stage.

The cost of a 30-second Super Bowl LVII commercial was $7 million. Anheuser-Busch purchased the most significant unit. Advertisements for Molson Coors, Doritos, Google Pixel, and others were broadcast for 3 minutes.

Peacock also showed its advertisement. Viewers could watch snippets of the series "Pokerface," starring Natasha Lyonne. Movie trailers were also shown by Warner Bros., Universal Pictures, Disney, Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures, and Amazon Studios. Disney also announced its 100th-anniversary celebration.
