NRL match of the week pits unbeaten Parramatta Eels against defending champion Sydney Roosters

Early on in the 2020 NRL campaign, the Parramatta Eels have been the talk of the league.

As the lone unbeaten team left, the Eels come into week six on top of the NRL ladder.

Parramatta, though, has some company near the top of the form chart, especially since the COVID-19 break: the defending champion Sydney Roosters.

Sydney lost 20-14 to Penrith in Week 1, then dropped a heart-breaker 9-8 to Manly in Week 2. Since then, though, the Roosters have cut a swath of destruction through the NRL, outscoring three opponents 129-18.

Even with the two losses, Sydney comes in as a heavy favorite (-250) against Parramatta, and it could be that the last unbeaten team falls early Saturday morning.
