5 Must-Bet College Football Games for Week 2

Matt Brown

Week 2 of college football is packed with a ton of action, and there are some juicy betting lines you don’t want to miss. Whether you’re loading up your bet slip at Bet365, DraftKings, or even BetMGM, you’re going to want to load it up with these gems.

No. 3 Texas (-7) at No. 10 Michigan — Texas Covers

Texas is rolling after a 52-0 rout of Colorado State, and their defense will be too much for Michigan’s shaky O-line. Michigan barely got by Fresno State, and now they face a Longhorns team that’s looking to spoil their 23-game home win streak.

Expect Texas to bring the heat on Michigan’s new QBs, Davis Warren and Alex Orji. Quinn Ewers will have another big game.

  • Pick: Texas -7

  • Prop: Ewers Over 2.5 TDs

Baylor at No. 11 Utah (-14.5) – Utah Rolls

Utah looked dominant in their 49-0 win last week, and Cam Rising looks like he is back in full form. Baylor, on the other hand, struggled despite a win over Tarleton State. Utah’s defense is too tough, and Baylor’s QB, Dequan Finn, will make costly mistakes. We want Baylor to pull off an upset, but it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen that way.

This one could get ugly fast as Utah’s defense smothers Baylor’s offense.

  • Pick: Utah -14.5

  • Prop: Utah defense Over 1.5 takeaways

No. 14 Tennessee (-9) vs. No. 24 NC State – Vols Win Big

Tennessee’s offense looks unstoppable after a 69-point outing last week. Nico Iamaleava has plenty of weapons at his disposal, and NC State’s defense will struggle to keep up. The Wolfpack barely beat Western Carolina, and Tennessee’s defense will apply constant pressure on Grayson McCall. Go and make the bet and get your money on this one.

  • Pick: Tennessee -9

  • Prop: Tennessee Over 35.5 points

Colorado (+6.5) at Nebraska – Take Colorado and the Points

Shedeur Sanders is coming off a massive game, and with Travis Hunter at his side, Colorado’s offense is absolutely electric. Nebraska’s freshman QB Dylan Raiola has potential, but he’s facing a tougher defense this week. Coach Prime’s team will keep this close; if not, they will win outright. They’re going to cover the spread easily.

  • Pick: Colorado +6.5

  • Prop: Sanders Over 300 passing yards

Boise State at No. 7 Oregon (-19) – Boise State Covers

Oregon struggled against Idaho last week, and Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty is coming off a 267-yard, six-TD performance. Yeah, that’s jaw-dropping. Oregon will win but don’t expect them to cover this massive spread. We think the bookmakers got this one wrong, but at least it’s an opportunity for you to cash in on their mistake with the spread.

  • Pick: Boise State +19

  • Prop: Jeanty Over 115 rushing yards
