The total points line is set relatively low at 48.5, indicating a possible defensive battle. But considering the talent on Georgia's offense, they might push the game over that. Either way, we don’t think this is the game that Clemson will figure things out.

Penn State is favored by 8.5 points, largely due to their solid defense and explosive offense under new coordinator Andy Kotelnicki. While West Virginia brings back a strong running game, Penn State's defense, especially with the return of Abdul Carter, should be up to the challenge. The 51.5-point total means that the bookmakers believe this will be a moderately high-scoring game, but Penn State’s defense stands to keep West Virginia's scoring in check. Betting on Penn State to cover the spread is a good bet, especially if their offense clicks early and keeps the momentum going.

Miami is slightly favored by 2.5 points in what we believe is going to be a fairly close rivalry game. The Hurricanes have the momentum with a new transfer QB, Cam Ward, and aspirations in the ACC. Florida, facing a brutal schedule ahead, will be desperate for a win here to build early-season confidence. The total is set at 54.5 points which means this game could be decided by a few big plays. While Miami looks strong on paper, Florida’s home-field advantage and need for an early win make them a nice underdog bet.
Pick: Florida to cover the spread (+2.5).
Line: Texas A&M -3
Total Points: 46.5
Texas A&M is the slight favorite by 3 points in this matchup, likely due to their home-field advantage and a defense that, despite new faces, remains one of the more dominant in the league. Notre Dame, with Riley Leonard at QB, has the potential to surprise if they can hold their own in the trenches. With the total set at 46.5, bookmakers are thinking this will be a defensive slugfest, which could favor Notre Dame if they can control the clock and limit mistakes. Given the close spread, this game could easily swing in either direction, but betting on Notre Dame to keep it close—or even win outright—feels like a smart play to us.
