Yale Bulldogs at Auburn Tigers, 2 pm Eastern

The Pick: Moneyline Parlay UMass with Auburn at -132, bet $26.40 to win $20

Gonna fade the Ivy League today, and not just because they’ve been hurting my feelings lately. Yale has to travel down to Alabama to face Auburn, who’s ranked 21 in the AP and 19th in the Pomeroy rankings. The Tigers are 6-1 and Yale lost last week to Stony Brook…not that I’ve thought about that much since. Seriously, Auburn’s adjusted defense is ranked 15th in the nation, per Ken Pomeroy, and their offense is almost seven points per game better than the Bulldogs. They should take care of business at home. UMass is also at home, even though Harvard doesn’t have to travel as far as Yale does to face them. Both teams have high-scoring offenses but the Minutemen are slightly more powerful, 82.3 points per game to the Crimson’s 77.9. The two teams have identical records but UMass has played better teams and is gearing up to play in a slightly better conference. I like them to win straight up at home. The offenses make taking the over look like a good play too. Thus…
