Mike Kern's Friday night Ivy League teasers feature Penn vs Yale, Princeton vs Brown, Dartmouth vs Columbia and Harvard vs Cornell

Mike Kern

If it’s Friday night it must mean we’re going to try and make some money in the Ivy League.

Since there’s four games we’ll go with two teasers. Nothing too heavy, cause it is the Ivies and sometimes this league doesn’t always make sense. But let’s give it our best shot anyway.

For starters, I’ll move Yale at home down to a 3.5 favorite against Penn. Yale has only lost once at home, this is a revenge game and the Quakers have been kind of hard to figure. Their game tomorrow at Brown is actually way more important, if they want to make it into the four-team playoff. Speaking of which, let’s pair that with Brown getting 4 at home against Princeton. The Tigers are another group that has had their moments both ways. Brown is 10-2 at home. So basically just hope for a real close one, which also happens a lot in this league.

Next up we’ll go with Cornell getting 6.5 against visiting Dartmouth, which won the first meeting by 22 at its place. But Cornell has won five of its last seven at home, so we’ll be looking for a different kind of game this time. And we’ll then take Columbia getting 13.5 at home against Harvard, which has won four straight. Columbia hasn’t won in over a month, but the Lions took Harvard to double overtime in Boston. Let’s see if they can stay within two touchdowns in New York.
