NCAAB Thursday picks from Kern: Delaware vs Elon, Drexel vs William & Mary, Iowa vs Indiana, Memphis vs Cincinnati, and Colorado vs Oregon

Mike Kern

Not in love with much tonight, but we’ll still throw out a few things for your perusal. I guess that can’t hurt.

In the CAA let’s try a teaser, starting with Elon at home getting 8 points against Delaware. Blue Hens won the first meeting, but it could have easily gone the other way. Elon is on a three-game winning streak, including two on the road. Just think at very least this one will be close. I’ll pair that with William & Mary at home just to win against Drexel. The Dragons won the first meeting big at home. Both teams have been struggling recently. I’ll take a chance that the Tribe can get some revenge.

In the Big Ten I’ll try Iowa getting 2 at Indiana, which has lost four straight. This might be one of those set-up things that’s not worth getting involved in. Still, the Hawkeyes can score and Indy has been having issues with that. Don’t get too carried away, but a little something doesn’t seem like too much of a stretch.

Then we’ll try another teaser. I’ll take Cincinnati at home giving Memphis 2, and Oregon at home getting .5 against Colorado, which is for first place in the Pac-12. Buffs won the first game at their place six weeks ago. Again, I’m banking on some revenge. Same thing with Cincy, which lost at Memphis by 11 a month back. The Bearcats then won five straight before losing their last one, by 1 at Connecticut. So I’ll go for some more payback.
