NCAAB: Ivy League Final pits Harvard vs. Yale

YALE -4.5 vs. Harvard (144.5) Noon

Howard Gensler

YALE -4.5 vs. Harvard (144.5) Noon. The game starts in an hour so I’ll make this quick. Harvard plays defense. Yale plays offense. Both teams are long and athletic for Ivy teams. Both have depth. Yale relies on upperclassmen, with three seniors and two juniors starting. Harvard can play a bunch of freshmen. Yale has Miye Oni. Harvard has Bryce AIken. Based on how they played yesterday, Harvard will be much tougher on defense than Princeton was. Yale is hard to figure. At home with a partisan crowd, they blew the Tigers out in the first half and then let Princeton so far back they almost lost, in the second half. It took a number of questionable foul calls on Princeton’s Myles Stephens, to give Oni free reign in the final few minutes. Yale will have the crowd (although yesterday’s attendance was pitiful -- good move Ivies), Harvard has already beaten them twice.
Pick: Harvard -4.5 Over Yale and Under 144.5
