In the nightcap of Thursday’s Big East Tournament action Seton Hall takes on Georgetown. Here’s the selection.
Georgetown +2 vs. Seton Hall, 9:30 pm
The Pick: Seton Hall -2
These two teams are pretty evenly matched, hence the small line, and the fact they played to a double overtime game less than two weeks ago.
Seton Hall (18-12, 9-9) after a late-season slump responded with two wins over top 20-ranked teams, Marquette and Villanova, in its final two regular-season games.
Georgetown (19-12, 9-9) also bounced back with a win over Marquette the game after being blown out by DePaul.
The Pirates beat the Hoyas at the Rock, 90-75, before losing the double overtime game, 77-71, at Georgetown.
One edge for Seton Hall is playing close to home at The Garden, and the fact it is a perfect 5-0 in neutral site games this season.
The Pirates will also have the best player on the floor in Myles Powell, so take the Pirates in what should be an enjoyable game to watch.
