The Thursday Philly Props: Drexel

Second Half

Bob Vetrone

For just the second time this season (the other being Dec. 28), the Drexel Dragons have the entire Philly sports landscape to themselves Thursday -- no Big 5, no Flyers, no Sixers, no Eagles -- so why not let them have a shot at their own Philly Prop.

In their 12 games since Dec. 30, the Dragons have won the second half eight times with one tie. That 8-3-1 mark is enough to get us to take them in this spot.

The O/U of 147 is also one of the lowest in a Drexel game this season, mostly because host James Madison is not your highest-scoring juggernaut (70.2). But the Dukes did put up 104 on UNCW two games ago and have hit the Over in seven of their eight DI games at the JMU Convention Center this season. If fact, we’re gonna double-up on the Over.

PIck: Drexel To Win Second Half (+0.5/-110)
Pick: Drexel-JMU Over 147 ($10/-110)
