Cleveland Cavaliers at Minnesota Timberwolves, 8 pm Eastern

The Pick: Minnesota +1 (-114), bet $11.40 to win $10

Minnesota has lost four games in a row. However, those games were to the Washington Wizards, the Brooklyn Nets, the Atlanta Hawks, and the Utah Jazz, four playoff teams (and at least two powerhouses). Losing four in a row is never good, but let’s put that in perspective. Cleveland is better this year, but tonight is their first matchup against the Timberwolves, in their arena. The Cavaliers have been crushing it against the spread but I think Minnesota, while up-and-down, is the better team. I’ll take a point at home.

Dallas Mavericks at Indiana Pacers, 7 pm Eastern

The Pick: Indiana -129, bet $10 to win $7.80

Indiana’s on a tiny bit of a roll ever since it was essentially made public that they’re looking to rebuild and putting most of the team on the trading block. I think the feeling might be mutual between management and labor, on this one. The Pacers are not as bad as their record indicates, and they’re 8-6 at home. Dallas is on the second leg of a three-game road trip, in Indiana, in December. That may define “uninspired.” Luka Doncic has not played up to last season’s form yet, and Pacers like Malcolm Brogdon and Domantas Sabonis are competitors, who are more than willing to show other teams their value while also winning games.

Player Prop Parlay: Malcom Brogdon 15+ points w/Domantas Sabonis 15+ points w/Sabonis 8+ rebounds, +109, bet $7.50 to win $8.18

In that vein…Brogdon’s averaging 20.3 points per game, Sabonis 18 points and 12 rebounds. An average game for both nets nice value.
