Chicago Bulls at Brooklyn Nets, 7:30 pm Eastern
The Pick: Brooklyn -154, bet $10.78 to win $7
These are the top two teams currently in the Eastern Conference, so I don’t imagine either team will be giving less than their best. Brooklyn has won six of its last seven games but has not performed well against the spread this season, which is why I’ll pay a little extra just for a straight win. The Nets are playing the second game of a back-to-back, but Chicago has some injury issues - guards Alex Caruso and Coby White are both questionable, and they are essential cogs in what has become a solid Chicago defensive machine. The Bulls are playing well and have established that they’re a playoff team. But Brooklyn is a championship contender, and championship contenders win these games at home.
Player Prop Parlay: Zach LaVine 20+ points w/DeMar DeRozan under 25.5 points w/Lonzo Ball 4+ assists, +198, bet $4 to win $5.94
Brooklyn will win but Chicago will put forth its best effort. I like both LaVine and DeRozan to score more than 20, but DeRozan stays under 25. Lonzo Ball should have little trouble distributing four dimes.
